As I was reading through the thread I was reminded of the many comments that I have read from fans on many ABBA forums over the years. Some folks somehow feel that Agnetha and Bjorn are secretly in love still. Or that somehow because they spent 12 years together personally and professionally that they "should" be best friends today. From the statements they both have made over the years they aren't best friends. They both have said that they don't see each other often in many interviews. As Bjorn states in this article they are "civilized/civil" to one another which is fine. My point is (I thought it was obvious) "Expecting" more is not realistic. Is it possible to be close friends after divorce? Sure, it is possible. Is it likely? No, not likely. Not being "best friends" does NOT mean they are enemies.
But when i thought about it really wouldnt have mattered that much what Bjorn had said, his comments regarding him an Agnetha would always be scrutinised, debated about, and read into anyway the reader of them wishes to take them.
