Rhode Island company recalls 56,800 baby rattles
WASHINGTON, June 28 () -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Fred & Friends of Cumberland, R.I.,[url=http://www.christianelouboutinoutlet.com]Christian Louboutin Discount[/url], is recalling 56,800 baby rattles due to a choking hazard.The regulator said the "Buff Baby" rattles being recalled were made in China and sold nationwide and in Canada from October 2011 through June 2013 for between $7 and $10.The caps of the rattles can come apart, allowing access to small parts that can choke a small child or an infant, the regulator said.Consumers were advised to take the "Buff Baby" rattles away from children and to contact Fred & Friends for a full refund.The rattles involved in the recall are about 5 1/2 inches long and 2 inches wide. They have "O.2" embossed on both pentagon-shaped ends of the rattle, the CPSC said.Consumers can call 877-647-8644 for information.
