Dr Carr-Gregg said the teen-prank video might have been a sporadically joke, but will haunt the students for a long period.
"It is suggestive of an amazing failure in terms of our education system, because we didn't equip these three girls with skills, the knowledge and also the strategies around keeping themselves safe online.
"This will now haunt them for the rest of their lives,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," Dr Carr-Gregg said.
Dr Carr-Gregg said it highlighted the deficiencies of Department of Education in South Australia who had not adopted the e-smart school program which Victoria and Queensland had implemented,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
"I think the school had erred in expelling them," Dr Carr-Gregg added.
"What about support,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], what about education?"
He described the suspending from the students as 'a knee-jerk, stupid' reaction.
Dr Carr-Gregg said the support and responsibility would also need to be shared through the parents,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
"One from the key roles of the parent in 2012 is to make sure that you're monitoring and supervising these immature brains with an ongoing basis,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]."
"My heart is out to these kids, their own families,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and I do hope that maybe the school might reverse its position and permit these kids back in after a period of time."
Police investigating video
South Australian Police Commissioner Mal Hyde said the incident had been known the South Australian Police and they would be investigating the problem,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
"The laws are fairly strict when it comes to anything that might involve particularly under-aged sex."
