Josh Hamilton homers in 11th to give LA Angeles a 9-7 win over Boston
ANAHEIM,[url=http://www.jdebug.net]Jimmy Choo Sale[/url], Calif., July 7 () -- Josh Hamilton's two-run homer in the bottom of the 11th inning Saturday lifted the Los Angeles Angels to a come-from-behind 9-7 win over the Boston Red Sox.Hamilton's 12th homer of the season came off Craig Breslow (2-2) with Brad Hawpe on board.Hamilton also drove in a run in the bottom of the ninth when the Angels rallied for four runs to send the game into extra innings. Albert Pujols hit a two-run single and Collin Cowgill scored on a throwing error by Boston third baseman Brandon Snyder in the big inning.Boston had taken an early 2-0 lead when Jacoby Ellsbury scored on a throwing error by Angels catcher Chris Iannetta while stealing third in the first and a Brock Holt sacrifice fly in the second.Los Angeles tied it up in the bottom of the second, however, on a Howie Kendrick homer and Iannetta's RBI single, and Mike Trout homered in the third to make it 3-2 Angels.The Red Sox answered with three runs in the fourth on a two-run double by Jarrod Saltalamacchia and an RBI single by Jose Iglesias. Boston added runs in the sixth and eighth innings on an RBI single by Dustin Pedroia and a run-scoring double by Daniel Nava, respectively.Dane De la Rosa (4-1) picked up the win for LA with a no-hit effort in the top of the 11th. Angels starter Jerome Williams made it through just three innings, giving up five runs (four earned) on seven hits and a walk.Boston starter Ryan Dempster went 6 1/3 innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on seven hits and two walks.
