Paul MacLean heads NHL awards by winning Jack Adams Award
CHICAGO, June 14 () -- Paul MacLean of the Ottawa Senators Friday was named as the winner of the Jack Adams Award, which goes annually to the NHL's coach of the year.The award was made on the second anniversary of MacLean becoming Ottawa's head coach.He guided the Senators into the Stanley Cup playoffs this season, where they pulled off a first-round surprise by ousting the No. 2 seed Montreal Canadiens.
