Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova remain 1-2 in women's tennis rankings
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., April 22 () -- Serena Williams remains ranked No. 1 in women's tennis but a strong field at this week's WTA tournament in Germany looks to shake up the Top 10.Williams on Monday marks her 10th consecutive week atop the rankings. She's been No. 1 for a total of 133 weeks, which is sixth most all-time. However, No. 3-ranked Victoria Azarenka, the tournament runner-up last year, and fourth-ranked Agnieszka Radwanska, who was a 2012 semifinalist, aren't in the field this week.Williams has an 875-point lead over Sharapova, who has 10,240 points, for the No. 1 ranking while Azarenka has 9,325 points and Radwanska 6,845.Li Na is fifth with 5,880 points but No. 6 Angelique Kerber (5,395), seventh-ranked Sara Errani (5,350) and No. 8 Petra Kvitova (5,225) are within 170 points of each other.Samantha Stosur has 3,790 points and Caroline Wozniacki 3,760 and are ranked ninth and 10th, respectively.In addition to the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, the WTA has a tournament this week in Morocco.
